Support for people to break the cycle of drug using and offending.

BADAS works with people who have become involved in offending because of drug or alcohol use. Our aim is to work with you to help you make changes to your use of drugs and alcohol and to move out of the cycle of using and offending.

We are committed to the view that anyone, given the right package of care and support, can meet their goals and achieve more than they may imagine.

A specialised team offer two comprehensive treatment programmes that require attendance at appointments and full engagement with the treatment programme:

ATR – Alcohol Treatment requirement
DRR – Drugs Rehabilitation requirement

Both orders offer an extensive package of support which includes:
Support, advice, information and guidance in a group or 1-1 setting.
Drug Testing.
We can help you set goals and targets to change your drug or alcohol use.
A dedicated worker to help you manage your journey alongside other agencies such as Probation.
Support to keep you motivated toward your goal.
Opportunities to share experience with others in a similar position.
Referral into medical treatment and other appropriate services.

Dedicated Drugs Court
Offences that are specifically drug related in Barnsley are dealt with through a Dedicated Drugs Court. BADAS workers are present in the courtroom to assess offenders suitability for Court Orders and to help with referrals into drug treatment if found unsuitable for court orders
